First Presbyterian’s quilters design and stitch small quilts for individuals going through major life transitions – birth, sickness, relocation, death, etc.. The quilts are then prayed over and blessed during worship before being presented to those in need of prayer. All levels of quilters, from experienced to beginners, are welcome. To request a quilt, email the church office.

First Presby has a long tradition of providing the families of those who have passed a place to gather following funerals and memorial services. The woman of the church provide a simple lunch or dinner and families are welcome to sit, eat and fellowship in an unrushed environment. Funeral Dinners are available for the families of church members and non-members alike; and the service does not have to be held in the church. A $5 pp donation is suggested but not required. Contact the church office for more information.
The women of the church meet regularly to engage in fellowship, Bible study and mission. Contact church office for meeting schedule.
