From the facilitator:
God designs us to be healthy, vibrant and well. But how do we get there? We hear all the time about new diet “fads” and health crazes but the Bible contains a more holistic plan if we know how to look for it. During this workshop we will combine Biblical teaching and scientific evidence as we dig into two specific aspects of overall wellness: Essential Oils and Mindfulness. Participants will be actively engaged throughout the two-part workshop and will walk away with strategies and action steps that you can use in your every-day life. In between parts one and two we’ll enjoy a catered lunch from All Good Things in Columbiana. Come for the whole day or just the morning or afternoon. Take one small step toward wellness.
Note about child care
Free child care will be provided by experienced grandma types with whom your child will fall in love at first sight. Please indicate on the registration form the names and ages of your children. If you do not pre-register for child care, we cannot guarantee it will be available. Children should bring their own lunch and drink. Snacks will be provided. Child care workers will not change diapers. If your child is not potty trained, you will be asked to come change your child’s diaper if necessary. Parents are welcome to bring infants to the class with them.
Note about fee structure
THE HUB commits to making workshops accessible to all regardless of availability to pay. But it also costs money. So we give you a range and trust that you will pay what you are able.
